In Cruden's mechanical engineering team, we design and build the essential mechanical components for our simulators, such as access structures, mock-up movers, and chassis mockups. One of the key challenges when designing structures on top of the motion system is keeping the weight low while ensuring the first eigenmode aligns with the specified bandwidth. It’s a tricky balance, but that’s what makes the work exciting—finding innovative solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible, all while ensuring our simulators deliver outstanding performance and realism.
