At Cruden, I lead the development of Panthera, the software that powers the virtual worlds in which our simulators operate. Panthera controls the visual, motion, haptic, and audio feedback in our simulators, making it crucial for creating realistic self-motion perception and ensuring natural behavior for drivers and operators.

In recent years, we’ve dedicated significant effort to building a new backbone for Panthera, allowing for easier and more effective integration of third-party engineering and training tools—whether by us or external partners. This open architecture enhances the versatility of our simulators.

Panthera’s development operates on quarterly release cycles. When planning new features, we balance the immediate needs of our current projects with our long-term roadmap. Importantly, each feature is designed so that every customer can benefit from the improvements, ensuring a constantly evolving and adaptable platform.
